The Montgomerys, a four-piece who formed in late 2013 are a high energy and captivating mixture of country and rock & roll.
Following a breakthrough summer in 2014, which saw the band play main stages at major festivals including Boomtown Fair and Grillstock, The Montgomerys’ debut album was recorded at Alma Vale Studios in Bristol by Luke Cawthra who captured the band’s high-energy sound by recording the ten tracks live. Mixed using vintage analogue equipment at the Dog House Music Studio, the band’s frontman Sam Whitlock said the band was very happy with the authentic sound of the record, which has their trademark three-part harmonies at the fore.
